Hints from Anne for Photographing Your Baby at Home
| |
| 1. | Please don't try to replicate any of my photographic images, as these are produced under controlled conditions in my studio, with a team of talented professionals who assist me. |
| 2. | Keep your camera handy at all times. The more familiar your baby is with a camera, the more natural your photographs will be. |
| 3. | Keep your background simple. |
| 4. | Get down to your baby's eye level for a more personal point of view. |
| 5. | Ensure that your baby is safe, well fed, happy and comfortable and you can be guaranteed some great shots. |
| 6. | Choose the time of day when your baby is happiest. Every baby is different. For instance I always photograph in the mornings. |
| 7. | You don't need an expensive camera to take a great photograph. The best shots of your baby will most likely be candid ones. |
| 8. | The photograph is not about the props (no flowerpots please!) - it's just about your beautiful baby. |
| 9. | Remember, they are only this tiny for such a short time. So try to show your baby's size in relation to their surroundings. |
